Advanced Behavioral is an established Substance Use Disorder Outpatient program that has worked with thousands of clients over its 23 year history. Our program operates from a new state-of-the-art facility in Lakewood, NJ. The facility is modern, with bright, spacious group rooms, staff area and a gymnasium/theater for creative and interactive group venues.

In this part-time/full time position, we are currently seeking qualified candidates for our daytime IOP. The hours of the program are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Caseload of approximately 8-10 clients
• Psycho-educational Group Facilitation
• Documentation of client participation using DAP format notes
• Creation of Individualized Treatment Plans
• Weekly Progress Notes which convey progress toward Treatment Plan Goals
• NJSAMS entry
• Client Outreach
• 1:1 Individual Counseling sessions
• Coordinate with Parole, Probation, DCPP, IDRC, DYFS, SAI/BHI and other State agencies

Our program includes program components such as Relapse Prevention, Stages of Change, MICA Awareness, NA/AA support, co-occurring disorders and Psychiatric/Medication services.

We are looking for candidates who have strong SUD treatment skills, are focused, motivated and driven, with excellent oral and written communication and a bright positive outlook that will engender same in client. You will be joining our dedicated team and provide our clients with the services they need to help them reach their goals bringing about the changes in their lives they seek to make.

• CADC or LCADC

• Licensure, Prior experience and/or knowledge of NJSAMS a plus

Our program utilizes a blend of Evidence Based Practices that include CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing, combined with other program components such as IMR-WRAP, Pre-vocational training, Health and Fitness, Meditation and Art Therapy. We are looking for candidates who will join our dedicated team and provide our clients with the services needed to help them reach their goals.

The clinical counselor position has the following responsibilities:

• Caseload of approximately 15 – 18 clients
• Psycho-educational Group Facilitation
• Documentation of client participation
• Creation of comprehensive individualized treatment plans
• Weekly notes on progress toward treatment plan goals
• Client Outreach
• 1:1 individual counseling
• Scheduling of psychiatric appointments, medication refills and needed lab work
• Collaboration with outside agencies including Probation, Parole, IDRC, DCPP and ICMS

Similar job responsibilities as the Clinician listed above but with more focus on group facilitation and minimal caseload. Supervision is provided by Licensed supervisors of ABCS.

Advanced Behavioral continues to expand at it’s Lakewood NJ campus. We recently moved to a beautiful new facility and need more responsible and reliable Van Drivers for our expanding business! We currently have 12 routes and are in the process of adding additional routes. This is a part time position that requires about about 20 – 30 hours per week. The exact hours depends upon the specific route and how close or far away it is.

JOB SPECIFICS

• The Van Driver position is a split shift, picking up clients at their homes in the morning and returning them home in the afternoon.

• Morning shift is approximately from 7:00 to 9:00 AM

• Afternoon shift is approximately from 3:30 to 5:30 PM.

• Driving days are Monday – Friday (we are closed on weekends)

• Additional optional hours of driving between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm are available for those who are interested in more hours.

• 3 years minimum driving experience required

• Good driving record required.

We have a great team of Van Drivers who enjoy working together. Our fleet is made up of new vehicles and we continue to add more vans to our fleet as we grow. Our brand new facility has a staff lounge for drivers with TV and refreshments available. We are looking for individuals who want to be part of our team and grow with us!
